It has been on my heart the last few days to disclose some real truths about Islam. I know this is a delicate subject, but many people do not have a clear understanding about this religion.

Many have stated that Islam is a peaceful religion. President Bush has even made this statement publicly to millions of people. Is Islam really a peaceful religion?

I am going to give you some pertinent information that should help you have a greater understanding about Islam, its plans and its beliefs. I believe the people of God must be informed and not walk in ignorance in these last days. The church must wake up and begin to pray for God to move in our nations and in the people of these nations.

My heart in all of this is to bring truth, not division. May the Lord open the eyes of your heart to receive this message.

Surely, it is unfair to characterize all Muslims as terrorists or extremists. There are many decent Muslims who want no part of this battle. Nevertheless, while many news commentators and politicians are proclaiming that Islam is a peace-loving religion, others are warning of Islamic jihad. Barnabas Fund in England writes, "It is true that many individual Muslims are peace-loving and law-abiding. But is it not true that peace is the main characteristic of the faith of Islam." While Christianity has had its moments of violence, e.g. the Crusades, these acts are in complete contradiction to the precepts of the New Testament, which are based on loving your neighbor and your enemy.

As Christians, we cannot keep our heads in the sand forever. The Lord wants us to pray for the Muslims. He wants us to intercede on their behalf. He wants us to cry out for the salvation of their souls and deliverance from the enemies clutches.

Islam is not a peaceful religion. The articles and quotes in this newsletter prove the point.

I pray that the Holy Spirit will show you how to pray because the entire world is on the verge of many wars. There is much at stake. The church must arise and begin to prophesy to those things that are not as though they are.

We must begin to take a stand for Christianity and for the nation of Israel. The Lord declares in His word, "If they bless you (Israel), they will be blessed. If they curse you (Israel), they will be cursed." May we not be cursed because we do not stand with Israel. We must pray for the nation of Israel and for the Jewish people. They are God's chosen people and we must stand with them in their hour of great need.

If you are a Muslim, I want you to know that Jesus Christ died for you. He loves you and wants to deliver you from the deception that you are in. He wants to open your eyes to see the truth.

Jesus wants a personal relationship with you. He is a God of love and purpose. He is a God who forgives sin and gives you the assurance of salvation.

I pray that you will trust Jesus Christ today. He is the only way to heaven. There is no other way.
