Article #1: Masturbation
People are surprised when you suggest that masturbation alone, or with another by mutual consent, is sin and it is one of the most common queries raised in our teaching.
Let us look at the component parts that are present in the act of masturbation and then reflecting back into God's Word, examine what we are taught about each of these.
We can split the act into two. In the mind and by the body.
In order to live a chaste, pure life we need to have a chaste pure mind. We know that being in a fallen state this is not the case and we have a natural tendency to think what we should not be thinking, and it is only through the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit that this can be changed. However, we have a roll to play in self control and overcoming self will, in avoiding areas that might lead us to sin. In masturbation it is in the mind that the seeds of lust and impure thoughts arise. Notice we say lust, because it is ungodly thoughts that leads us astray. From these thoughts is born desire, a little harder to control than thoughts, and more deadly. Desire leads to sin and from sin death. It is in the mind that sin originates in impure thoughts leading to unchaste or unclean sex acts in the body. We will examine these facts in the light of Scripture. Thoughts + Desires + Lust + Fantasy + = Acting out sin
(Philipians 4:8 NIV) Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.
(2 Timothy 2:22 NIV) Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
(Titus 1:15 NIV) To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.
(Titus 2:5 NIV) to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
We see how the thought process can then bring us into sin in the mind and it ultimately leads to sin in the body. We know that ungodly sex is paramount to giving worship to Satan. In masturbation the essential elements of thoughts and fantasy are required to bring gratification and release to the person. In the man this is orgasmic in nature with ejaculation. In the woman her release is orgasmic and if it is a mutual act then worship may be the outcome.
Male sex inevitably leads to ejaculation. This physical act in the body soils the communion of God's spirit and human spirit because it is defiling.
(Leviticus 15:16 NIV) "'When a man has an emission of semen, he must bathe his whole body with water, and he will be unclean till evening.
(Leviticus 15:18 NIV) When a man lies with a woman and there is an emission of semen, both must bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.
Masturbation is defiling in the mind and in the act of external ejaculation.
Article #2 PAEDOPHILIA
Both men and women abuse babies and young children and it is quite common for the abuser to start his/her activities in childhood as a child, or teenage abuser.
Some children abuse after they have been abused but many children are inherently born abusers.
Paedophilia is not a learnt behaviour and as such will not respond to "behaviour modification therapy."
The roots of Paedophilia lie in the spiritual domain as do all sexual aberrations.
It is one of the most unacceptable sexual crimes in modern society but mankind is completely at a loss to know how to manage or contain the situation, other than incarcerating the abuser in prison.
Paedophiles claim and believe they have a sexual orientation towards children like homosexuals. The term sexual orientation is has been manufactured by man since 1960, as a term to excuse or justify sexual sin. There is no place for the term in discipleship living.
(Mat 18:3 NIV) And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
(Mat 18:4 NIV) Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
(Mat 18:5 NIV) "And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.
(Mat 18:6 NIV) But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
(Mat 18:7 NIV) "Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!
Modern day Paedophilia is the consequence of flouting God's own law on sexuality. In the modern civilised world, acceptance and even promotion of ungodly sex has been written into civil law, together with the murder of millions of God's created spiritual children by abortion. God is a Holy, pure and righteous God who is unchanging. What He says will happen, happens.
(Exodus 34:6 NIV) And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, "The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness,
(Exodus 34:7 NIV) maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation."
Article #3 BESTIALITY
(Exodus 22:19 NIV) "Anyone who has sexual relations with an animal must be put to death.
(Leviticus 18:23 NIV) "'Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion.
Bestiality is judged most severely in scripture. It is a sexual activity that incurs the full penalty under God's law and Satan is keen to extract the full price by way of heavy demonisation of the participants.
